You can eat papaya and boiled eggs together. This is a better combination.
The scientific reason behind this is as follows:
- Papaya contains proteolytic enzymes like papain. These enzymes help in the breakdown of protein and thereby help in the digestion of protein. In fact, after a high protein diet, it is recommended to have one or two slices of papaya for better digestion.
- One more point worth mentioning here is egg does not contain vitamin C. One large papaya may give you three times of daily dose of vitamin C. So from this angle, it makes sense to combine both foods.
- Another point, as papaya is a fruit, contains enormous soluble fibers, needed to have healthy peristaltic movement of the gut thereby keeping the intestine clean. So go ahead and have your slice of a papaya!
